Meet the Maker.

Hey there everyone! My name is Kait and I am brains behind the entire operation that is Kaytee Designs. 

For what started out as me being bored back in early 2019 and finding some clay at my local two dollar shop, eventually evolved into the brand that is Kaytee Designs. I started out at my kitchen dining table, using a can of hairspray and a skewer and got to work. After giving more than enough (pretty dodgy) earrings to my mother, grandparents, aunts... it soon became clear to me that hey! Maybe this could be something. So the foot went down on the pedal, money and time invested and before I knew it, I was selling earrings to everyone all over town. 

After some hiatuses, lack of inspiration, covid-19, buying a house on my own and moving... I finally had my first market at the end of 2020. I sold almost all of my stock and was completely shocked - and completely addicted to Markets. 

From there, I was doing one or two Markets a month around Central West NSW for a solid 3 months... and then Covid hit again. It felt like a vicious cycle that would never end, but November 2021, I had my first market in over 6 months and it was amazing. Hopefully by February, I will back to Markets every other weekend! 

While my kitchen table desk has since turned into a small office, I still consider myself to have quite a small workspace. I have no partner to help me (though i have some amazing friends and family that come and help me at markets), I do this all on my own. From start to finish, top to bottom - and I wouldn't have it any other way! 

I hope by reading this you learnt a little bit more about the person behind the brand.
